Principal, S’nenjongo Daycare

“Our children are confident, school-ready, and able to succeed.”

I began my journey in 2010, as a young mother determined to learn how to raise my own children well. After resigning from work to care for my twins, I joined the SmartStart programme in 2022 and started S'nenjongo from my garage at home with just six children.

Today, we have grown to 35 children and six staff members, operating from our family home. Despite financial challenges and low fees, we are committed to quality early learning, strong phonics foundations, and holistic development so our children are confident, school-ready, and able to succeed.

My vision is to grow S'nenjongo into a fully established Grade R-focused centre that empowers children and parents in our community.
