Principal, Happy Kidz Daycare

“Every day, I get up because I love children and want to make a difference in their lives.”

I've always been interested in early childhood development. My journey started when I volunteered at schools while raising my own child. I've studied ECD up to a Diploma and worked in several schools and programmes, which showed me how important the early years are for a child's future.

I opened Happy Kidz with just a few children and have grown it into a centre where I focus on giving children a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy and social skills.

My dream for Happy Kidz is to continue growing, improving resources, and providing quality education and care for every child in our community.

This centre is not yet on the programme. Each centre needs R4,000 per month (R48,000 a year). Individual contributions of R270/month go into the shared ACE fund, which KET uses to make up every centre's monthly support. A group or company can adopt Happy Kidz Daycare outright. This centre currently has R9 available per child, per day.
