“Every child deserves access to early learning, regardless of what their family can afford.”

I started my journey in early childhood development in 2021. I partnered with KET through the SmartStart programme, which gave me the guidance I needed to open my crèche. At the time, I only had one child, and it was difficult in the beginning.

Since then, I have grown — in confidence, in knowledge, and in the size of my centre. Today I care for 46 children, supported by two teachers and a cook. I keep my fees low because I believe every child deserves access to early learning, regardless of what their family can afford.

My goal is clear: to keep developing, to support my teachers well — including making sure they are fairly paid — and to provide a strong and loving learning environment for every child in my care.
