“I realised these children needed care, love, and a safe place to learn.”
I started Little Learners because I saw many young children walking up and down the streets with nowhere safe to go. They would often come into my yard to play, and afterwards ask for something to eat or drink. That touched my heart. I realised these children needed care, love, and a safe place to learn.
The centre operates from my home, with two classrooms — one for ages 1–2 and one for ages 3–5. My two teachers and I plan our lessons together every week to make sure the children receive quality early learning.
Despite financial challenges — especially parents struggling to pay fees — we continue because of our love for the children. Seeing their growth and hearing positive feedback from parents keeps us motivated.
