Research is clear: the quality of early learning depends above all on the adults who deliver it.
When practitioners are well-supported, well-resourced, and confident in their practice, children thrive. And when children thrive in their early years, whole communities benefit — for generations. This is some of the most important work there is.
We have been doing
this for over 30 years.
Knysna Education Trust (KET) has worked alongside ECD practitioners and centre leaders in the Knysna area since the early 1990s. Over that time, we have learned what it actually takes to strengthen a centre — not just in the classroom, but in governance, compliance, sustainability, and leadership.
We work with practitioners and principals as capable professionals who want to grow. We don’t come with a one-size-fits-all programme. We listen, we build relationships, and we offer practical, contextually relevant support that works in the real conditions of your centre.
We know that centres face real pressures — limited resources, complex compliance requirements, the challenge of holding it all together. That’s exactly the kind of support we’ve built our work around.
